Board Meeting, August 11th, 2009

Thanks to all who attended, for a great meeting!!! The Board is very grateful for your kind words and positive feed back.

Dev Doyno, our property manager, addressed the group and gave a “State of the Condo” speech. In short, the meeting emphasized that we are in a recovery state and that positive steps have been taken to move forward.

A new management company has been hired, for a savings of $5472.00 per year, a new contract has been negotiated with Brighthouse for a savings of approximately $1800 per year and a new irrigation system company has been hired for an approximate savings of $600 per year.

These are just a few of the things that have been done since July 18th.

If you were unable to attend the meeting or would like a copy of the address, please email the Board at the email address indicated in the contact information and we will get you a copy, preferably electronically. However, if you do not have access to email, a hard copy can be arranged for you. Please contact the management company to pass the message on to one of us.

We really encourage people to fill out the information sheets that DRI has sent out to you, so we have appropriate contact information for all our owners.

We also encourage people to join this blog, so you can offer comments and suggestions and keep up to date with what is happening. We will try to get a newsletter out, but this weblog (ie blog) can be updated everyday if necessary and costs nothing to join or maintain.

Finally, we want to remind everyone that the Condo fees are $280.80 and are due on the 1st of every month. Please do not round the number up or down, as this creates accounting problems for the management company. Continue to use the coupon book provided by Dellcor, sending them to DRI at the address above. Direct debit and online bill pay remain the same, until further notice from DRI.

We have created a newsletter that we will post and provide electronic copies of to whomever would like one. If you know of someone that does not have web or email access, please let us know and we will get them a hard copy. Printing costs are signifigant, so we would apprecitate any one who can communitcate with us electronically, to do so....
